My name is Chad, and this is my blog.  As of the time of this writing I am 34 years old, happily married for nearly 13 years, and working through life just like the rest of you.  Also, like many of you, I like to express my thoughts in writing, though it has never been my strong suit.  Personality-wise, I fit into a melancholy category with ups and downs, and that spurs the creative side of me for writing music.  Most people that know me would say that I'm intense.

I used to be an athlete, but these days I'm an I.T. guy.  Not that the two are mutually exclusive, but my knees are not what they used to be, so most of the sports I played are out of the question (football, basketball, running).  I play guitar and piano and write music, much of which I will share on this site.  I also share my musical gifts in church as a worship leader on Sundays.

Creativity doesn't flow out of me naturally, so I'm working to exercise this soul-muscle with greater frequency these days.
